Buffalo Grove, Illinois (November 2012) – Elaton, Inc., a graphic and web design studio, announced that the newly designed website for The Art Room, an Art Lessons Studio located in Hyde Park, Chicago has launched at http://artlessonswithstacee.com/. Also included in the launch were branded Facebook and Twitter cover photo designs.
“We’ve been trying not to fall into a primary color scheme and used a classic contrast combo of purple and orange-yellow. Stacee’s hand drawn illustration was easy to incorporate into logo and make it a part of the banner on top,” said Elaton graphic designer Ella Epton.
The Art Room is a simple WordPress Content Management System site, in which Elaton included a secure online contact form, unique social media buttons and a blog.
The site includes the following pages with photos and descriptions:
The Facebook and Twitter cover photos each take elements from the website design, to keep branding cohesive and recognizable. Both social profiles include a profile picture of Stacee in her element — teaching art to children.
The Art Room is the Art Lessons Studio of Elaton, Inc. illustrator Stacee Kalmanovsky, which specializes in the artistic development of children of all ages. Art lessons with Stacee in Hyde Park are individualized to meet the needs of whatever skill level a child is at — from just picking up a brush to advanced learners. Parents can even help craft their child’s artistic curriculum.
Possible classes include:
- Drawing/Painting from Life
- Drawing/Painting from Imagination
- Drawing/Painting Based on Story Telling
- Portraiture – Landscape
- Still Life
- Abstraction/Color Theory
Classes are taught through a mixture of Classical skill building — such as composition, color theory and technique — and Contemporary ideas — expression, media and developing concepts — through Art. Stacee is a firm believer that seeing great art helps us to make great art. So, as an art teacher, she keeps historical art references on hand for even her smallest students to see.
Stacee doesn’t just teach in Hyde Park, she also lives there with her two sons. When she isn’t teaching, she works in her west side studio. Stacee received her Bachelors in Fine Art from the University of Illinois at Chicago, in 2004, and her Masters in Fine Art from the University of Chicago, in 2012. She has been teaching art for the past two years.
It was our distinct pleasure to work with The Art Room to meet the studio’s website development and design goals. For better look at the design, please visit our portfolio page: www.elaton.com/portfolio/
